Aplicabilidad e Importancia de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible

Resumen

El calentamiento global, las actividades humanas y los cambios en el medio ambiente han llevado a la comunidad internacional a generar políticas medioambientales que velen por el bienestar de la sociedad actual y futura. De esta manera, nacen los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, como una herramienta clave para garantizar el correcto desempeño de los actores de la sociedad en torno a la acción global. Todo esto, por medio de metas específicas e interdependientes como la salud, la educación, la equidad de género, la innovación, el trabajo, el desarrollo, entre otros.

Por esta razón, la Escuela de Estudios Internacionales identificó la necesidad de crear un espacio de abordaje para esta temática, con la Masterclass: Applicability of the Sustainable Development Goals, dirigida por el Ing. Jiří Schneider, Ph.D., Decano y Profesor Adjunto de la Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies, de Mendel University, en Brno, República Checa.

Esta Masterclass abordó la importancia de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible y su impacto como política medioambiental, favoreciendo un equilibrio entre el presente y futuro de una sociedad autónoma y colaborativa. Aquí, cada miembro de la sociedad, en sus respectivos niveles, es indispensable para alcanzar las metas que se plantean en la Agenda 2030 de las Naciones Unidas.

Abstarct
Global warming, human activities and changes in the environment have led the international community to generate environmental policies that ensure the well-being of current and future society. Thus, the Sustainable Development Goals are born as a key tool to ensure the proper performance of society's actors around global action. All this, through specific and interdependent goals such as health, education, gender equity, innovation, labor, development, among others.

For this reason, the School of International Studies saw the need to create a space to address this topic with the Masterclass: Applicability of the Sustainable Development Goals, led by Eng. Jiří Schneider, Ph.D., Dean and Associate Professor of the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies at the Mendel University, in Brno, Czech Republic.

The Masterclass addressed the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals and their impact as an environmental policy, favoring a balance between the present and the future of an autonomous and collaborative society. Here, each member of society, at their respective levels, is indispensable to achieve the goals set out in the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations.
