Abstract
The representation of the space that the student learns to solve with the systems of orthogonal and oblique projections in the subject of Graphic Representation (commonly called Technical Drawing), within the formation of the basic course in Design majors, has an impact on the development of creative skills, which are complementarily stimulated with the cognitive skills that the student acquires. This motivates students to achieve efficient performance in the description and communication of design projects. In this student training, which aims at their subsequent professional practice, the orientation towards solving proposals as part of the problem solving exercise is worked on in classes, in the context of learning to think creatively when students handle the forms and describe them from its geometric structure, under that great commitment to intervene in society from this creative act.

Keywords: Creative skills, thinking skills, cognitive skills, multiple intelligences, efficient performance, meaningful learning.
ER -
